Diameter is not enough
For a long graphite rod, overall length and end geometry are often just as important as diameter. Threads, steps, chamfers or locating features should be shown clearly.
Explain how the rod is installed
Support positions, insertion direction and mating components help the reviewer understand which dimensions affect function. This is especially useful for replacement rods.
Discuss packing early
Long graphite components should be supported and separated so that transportation does not introduce unnecessary impact or bending loads. If the rod must be bundled, labelled or separated by size, state this in the inquiry.
Material reference
The company product list identifies isostatic graphite for graphite rods. The exact grade and any material documentation remain project-specific.
Repeat orders
Keep the confirmed length, end details, drawing revision and item reference consistent. A small change to one end can create a different part and should be treated as a controlled revision.
