Packing is part of the delivery requirement
Graphite parts can have thin sections, edges, threads or long geometries. A technically correct part can still be damaged if it is allowed to impact another hard object during transport.
Separate small components
Nuts, pins, contact points and other small parts should be separated and clearly labelled, especially when several similar item numbers are shipped together.
Support long or plate-like parts
Long rods and plate assemblies should be supported in a way that avoids unnecessary point loads or bending. The packing arrangement should reflect the actual geometry rather than use one method for every component.
Keep the receiving record
When goods arrive, check packaging condition, item identification and visible damage before installation. Photographs taken at receipt can be useful if a transport issue needs to be reviewed later.
Confirm special requirements early
If the customer has a specified packing method, clean handling rule or labelling format, include it in the inquiry so it can be included in the quotation and delivery plan.
