Do not stop at the thread designation
A thread size describes only part of a graphite nut. The outer diameter or flats, total thickness, thread depth, chamfers and mating component can all affect the final part.
Show the mating relationship
If possible, provide the drawing of the threaded rod or matching component. This helps explain the engagement length and installation direction and reduces the risk of reviewing the nut in isolation.
Protect graphite threads
Graphite threads and edges can be damaged by impact or careless stacking. Packing should separate parts and prevent hard contact between threaded surfaces.
Material reference
The current company product list identifies isostatic graphite for graphite nuts. The exact grade and supporting documents remain part of the project confirmation.
For repeat orders
Keep the approved thread specification, drawing revision and product reference together. If the mating part changes, review the nut again before repeating the order.
