Review the geometry
Check overall dimensions, holes, grooves and edge details. Explain the function of thin or delicate features so that handling and machining questions can be discussed.
State requirements directly
Avoid relying on an image or an old email to define a tolerance. Put agreed technical requirements on the drawing or in a referenced specification.
Define acceptance
Agree which dimensions need records and which documents accompany delivery. If sample approval is required, include that stage in the project scope.
Close open questions
Use one confirmed revision for quotation and ordering. Record changes so that old information is not mistaken for the current requirement.
